The Project Management Professional (PMP®) Program is a 5-day training designed to enhance the skills of professionals and bolster workforce development. It enables candidates to develop professionally, increase their project management skills, apply formalized and standard-based approach to project management, and seek career advancement by moving into a formal project manager role, as well as to prepare and apply for PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification Exam.
The skills and knowledge you gain in this course will help you avoid making costly mistakes and increase your competitive edge in the project management profession.
This program is based on the new PMP® Exam Content Outline for 2021 and helps you to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification – a globally recognized qualification that aims to benefit both organizations and individuals.
- Organizations will learn how to improve on their projects and workflow processes, work effectively and efficiently, on the budget, and meet goals initially set out.
- Individuals will develop the experience, education, and competency skills to successfully lead and direct projects. Having a PMP® Certification demonstrates that you have the experience, education and the competency to lead and direct complex projects at any level. This recognition is also seen through increased marketability to employers and higher salary levels.
MPC’s trainers are all Project Management practitioners and the programs are enhanced with additional case studies and role-playing where the participants will learn how to apply the project management and methodologies they have learned to real cases they face in work. MPC’s retail classes are also planned to help the candidates to network in their industry with professionals from both the private sector and the government.
Adapted for Online learning
All programs are customizable and designed using the 21st Century Learning Skills (Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration) in the Active Learning approach and facilitated using storytelling and coaching (International Coaching Federation Core Competencies) method. All participants will define, explore, discuss, experience (activity-based), reflect, and decide on what is valuable and meaningful to them.
The virtual learning classroom is made possible using the Zoom (www.zoom.us), Mentimeter (www.mentimeter.com), and Microsoft Teams (Microsoft Teams) platforms. The learning will be fun and active by combining both Zoom additional features and Mentimeter’s functions in the online classroom activities. The activities include Word-Cloud, non-verbal chat (individual or group), breakout room to split the participants into smaller discussion groups, virtual whiteboard, votes and polls, questions and answers, pop-up survey quizzes and the interactive activities.
